Annoying People

A few years ago I met a boy a few years older than me, “Mike”. I didn’t think anything of it at first, but he quickly became annoying. He called all the time, and would not take the hint that I was not interested. This went on for a few years….I never had the heart to tell him plainly “get lost” because he’d start sounding depressed. One of my brothers, “Jin”, actually did tell him that at one point, but Mike ignored that and kept calling. The only reason the calls slowed was because I told him that my parents were getting annoyed that he was calling all the time.
The calls stopped completely when I went to college…then just today he called again. And I realized all over again how annoying I find him. And listening to his comments, I also realized that he’s somewhat of a…well, I don’t know what the actual word is. Its sort of has the meaning of ‘racist’ but instead of referring to color, it refers to discrimination against all sorts of people. Mike very much goes with stereotypes, and constantly makes fun of all sorts of people. Which is one reason that I don’t like him very much.
Often, I try to think of what would happen if I had never given him my phone number. I can’t even remember why I did, but I regret it. I don’t know why he can’t take a hint.
On a happier note, I found out that a manga/anime series I love, Kuroshitsuji, is coming to America! Yenpress is picking up the title and the first book should be out in January 2010!! I’m so excited! I don’t see why they had to translate the title, but in English it will be called Black Butler. I hope the anime is translated too…not because I mind subtitles when watching it, but because then it will be out on DVD that I can buy. ^_^
Hahahaha As I’m writing this, I’m watching Get Smart, season 1. Max is posing as a music journalist, and when someone doubted him, his response was : “I once listened to three weeks of Beethoven. Three straight weeks, would you believe it?” The other person, of course, said “No” So Max thinks for a moment then comes back with, “What about two weeks of Bach?” At the person’s “I don’t think so” Max’s last attempt is, “An hour of Looney Tunes?” heehee
