Confessions of A Working Girl

I wanted to see Ki as long as I was home for a couple of days. But it’s not going to happen.

Thanksgiving yesterday was hectic. A little after we ate dinner (but before dessert) I got a headache. That was bad enough. Then my stomach started hurting. I don’t know why…all I know is that it ended up in me being sick last night and not really wanting to do anything today. Well, I wanted to see Ki.

But if I am sick, I don’t want her to catch it. And even if it was only a one time thing, I feel kinda lethargic today. I probably should have gone to meet her anyway…I find I miss her when I’m at school. I wonder then, how much I’ll miss her next year if I’m not even going to be in the country.

And that’s another thing. I better not get sick next year. It’s horrible being sick, and when you are, you just want to be somewhere familiar. Next year, I won’t be. Maybe I better stop thinking about it…I’ll make myself nervous.

…well, back to lethargically laying around. And wishing I’d gone to meet Ki.
