Internet Woe

Posted by [email protected] on June 28, 2009 at 4:30 PM

First, let me say that the internet at my house hasn’t been working for the last two days. It’s really annoying. So this won’t be a very long post as I’m typing on a work computer (I signed out and the manager said no one would mind if I went online for a few minutes)

Anyway (and I think I use that word too much) someone asked if I was going to blog about Michael Jackson’s death. My question in return, why? Michael Jackson was always sort of some person I heard about occasionally and that was it. Plus I have a couple of songs by Jackson5 on my mp3 player. Other than that, I didn’t know much about him, so really, what can I write?

Well, other than, “any death is sad.” and “since he was a celebrity, the media will hang onto his death far longer than they would have if he’d been a normal person.”

Not to say that celebrities can’t be normal people or that they aren’t…or are they?
