Car

So here is a picture of my car!

It was taken at the parking lot at work, because that's when I remembered to take a picture...

On the hood were these scratches, right? and dad said that it would rust if I didn't get car paint to cover them. In the auto store, we found a gold paint that said it was for a saturn, but it didn't exactly match...

Update entry

Goodness it's been a while since I posted here. I've been working at the preschool, and at a cashiering job too, so I haven't remembered to write anything...

Since I last posted, I've had to get a new car. My old car was apparently so rusted that the front end was barely being held onto the back end, and the mechanic said to not drive it anymore. So I gave that car to them, and for a decent price, got a little gold saturn. ^^ I like the little car--I've had it since my birthday.

Random

I've been telling people that I'm not coming back to walk in May because of the five hour drive. That's certainly one of the reasons. Anyway, mentioning the drive reminds me of the drive I'm making back home on Friday. And that reminded me of the keychain I found in the dollar store a couple weeks ago. Since everyone always complains about the way I drive, I laughed and impulsivly bought it, and attatched it to my car key.^_^

Confession Number 5

Posted by [email protected] on June 2, 2010 at 2:50 PM Comments comments (0)

First, a random note: My friend Paige has been reading this, and she says that she’d prefer to be referred to as ‘Sugar’. I don’t know if I’ll remember to do that, but if I do, it will at least be understood that ‘Sugar’ and ‘Paige’ are one and the same. =)

Anyway, confession five begins with a warning. All those signs that are in store parking lots that say ‘customer parking only’? They mean it. They really do. I’...

Why is technology so annoying?

Posted by [email protected] on February 28, 2010 at 6:30 PM Comments comments (0)

And in this case, when I say technology, I mean cars. Today when I got into my car to drive to school, I had one of those tape things–the things that go into the tape player of the car, but connect to your cd player or mp3 player so that’s what you’re listening to.

I don’t know if it was just my car or what…but it would. not. work. I got so mad! It would only let me listen to about five seconds of a song before it skipped, and/or stopped working.

I ...

Prices are getting Ridiculous

Posted by [email protected] on January 7, 2010 at 9:40 PM Comments comments (0)

Well, actually, at the moment, all I’m thinking of are textbooks, but in general, prices are going higher and it seems ridiculous. For example, now, regular fiction books are generally 7 or 8 dollars if you buy them new!

But at the moment my main complaint is about textbooks. Today I spent $154.23 on textbooks. It took over an hour of searching online and comparison shopping to get the prices that low. Total, I needed six textbooks. Two of them I managed to find on the paperback...

Confession Number 2

(Am I really only at confession 2?)

Confession #2: Being an adult is hard.

When you’re little, you never really think about it. Your parents–and every other adult you know—is all powerful, and they can do everything. As you start getting older, you realize that they can’t do everything, but that’s ok. Then, once you’re on your own (or at least, away from home, at college), you realize, hey. Being an adult is hard.

At the moment, several ...

Does time really fly?

Posted by [email protected] on August 5, 2009 at 9:05 PM Comments comments (0)

It certainly seems it! This summer has gone by so fast. There’s only three weeks left until school starts again! And the play has seemed so rushed this year. Today everyone volunteered what ‘props’ they could bring in. I’m going to buy materials and make the rest. For the three year old who plays the cat, I figured that I’d make a fish with a bell in it. Maybe that will be sufficient to keep her from being distracted. Although I’m not too too worried̷...

My car! T_T

Posted by [email protected] on July 31, 2009 at 12:50 AM Comments comments (0)

A little over a year ago, I got my very first car for about $3000. I named her Dibynadwy, or Diby for short. (It means ‘reliable, dependable, trustworthy’ in welsh)

Diby was a little red bmw that was a year older than I was. The night we were going to bring her home, I begged my parents until they agreed to let me drive. At that point, I had never driven Diby before, never driven at night before, and still had only my permit.  Still, I insisted. My mom rode with me...

Driving, dogs and movies

To get to my grandmother’s house from where I live, it should be about an hour drive. It took me three. I couldn’t believe it! I got lost, found the right highway again, got lost, figured out where I was, then got lost and stayed lost until I called my dad.

Anyway, once I was finally at my grandparent’s we had a lovely weekend.

I got back from my grandparents’ on Tuesday afternoon…Tuesday night I went to Ki’s house. We wanted to watch Pirates ...
